Uncoiling and leveling
Stable strip entry reduces shape variation before the cutting section.
JINYE coil slitting lines are configured for standard steel coil processing, thin strip high-speed slitting, heavy-gauge slitting and narrow precision strip applications.
A slitting line typically includes coil loading, uncoiling, pinch feeding, leveling, rotary shearing, scrap winding, tension stand, recoiling and unloading. Arbor accuracy, tooling, EPC, tension separation and recoiler design decide the finished coil quality.
The following ranges summarize the supplied slitting line parameter sheet.
| Line Type | Material and Application | Width Range | Thickness Range | Speed Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High-speed thin strip slitting line | Precision narrow strip for stainless steel, silicon steel, copper and aluminum | 350-1250 mm | 0.03-1.0 mm | 150-400 m/min |
| Standard steel coil slitting line | Carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel and silicon steel coil processing | 650-1600 mm | 0.2-3.0 mm | 80-220 m/min |
| Heavy-gauge slitting line | Hot rolled pickled coil, stainless middle-gauge material and high coil weight applications | 850-1780 mm | 1.0-6.0 mm | 20-120 m/min |
| Narrow precision slitting line | Precision stainless strip, copper or aluminum thin strip and coated strip | 350-850 mm | 0.02-1.5 mm | 100-300 m/min |
Slitting performance depends on rigidity, tooling, knife clearance, tension control and recoiling strategy, not only the slitter head.
Stable strip entry reduces shape variation before the cutting section.
Arbor and knife setup are selected by material thickness, strength and slit width.
Controlled tension separation reduces telescoping, wandering and poor coil faces.
Recoiler design and unloading method are matched to coil weight and production rhythm.
